About The Orphanage "Cheburashka" in Ukraine

On March 2, 1999, the Rokytnia Orphanage "Cheburashka" was established for orphans and children deprived of parental care aged 3 to 18. An institution that provides children with conditions for living, diverse development, education, and preparation for independent living. Each employee gives these children all the attention and a part of their soul. As a reward, we receive sincere smiles from these children. It takes effort and time to make them feel that they are not alone, something that is needed and important. On February 24, 2022, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Regime of Martial Law", a regime of martial law was introduced in Ukraine! From February 25, 2022, these children lived in the basement under the orphanage. On March 2, 2022, children and their teachers were evacuated to Lviv to the specialized school of Maria Pokrova, where they are still located.
